Greetings to you in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
There has been some misconceptions with regards to the Holy Communion or the Lords Supper.
The questions that always come up are; Who is qualified to partake in the Lord's supper? Are sinners allowed to partake in the Lords supper? Etc
I want to state clearly here that, the Communion supper is for the body of Christ for that matter believers of Christ Jesus.
The bread and the wine represent the body and the blood of Christ that was sacrificed for the believer for the redemption of his sins. Therefore, Communion is only for those people who have trusted in Christ's sacrifice. Communion is not for those who are not covered by Christ's sacrifice.
This is significant since the great majority of people do not take communion because they have been taught to believe that this true food is restricted to just 144000. Others don't take because they dont understand the word of God by inspiration through Apostle Paul in 1 Cor 11:27-28 which says "Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord irreverently will be guilty of the body of the Lord and of the blood of the Lord...But let a man examine himself, and in this way let him eat from the bread and drink from the cup".
This scripture has been misunderstood to mean that, the believer must examine him or herself whether he has committed any sin.

That's rather unfortunate because we are all sinners who have been saved by grace not works through the death of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary. Putting our faith in Him makes us pure in the sight of God since the blood speaks for us believers daily and cleanses us when we sin and ask genuinely ask for forgiveness. The word of God says that the bread is a sharing in the body of Christ, that there is only one body of Christ (the church) of which we all partake.
Within the Christian Church, there is no limitation on who takes the Lord's supper as long as the person has believed in Christ.
The Bible says "Is not the cup of blessing which we bless a sharing in the blood of Christ? Is not the bread which we break a sharing in the body of Christ? Since there is one bread, we who are many are one body; for we all partake of the one bread. Look at the nation Israel; are not those who eat the sacrifices sharers in the altar?" (1 Cor. 10:16-18, NASB).

"And on the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread, Paul began talking to them, intending to depart the next day, and he prolonged his message until midnight," (Acts 20:7, NASB).
There is no mention of limiting communion to anyone except that they examine themselves .
Examining one's self only means to rightly discern that the elements represent Christ's sacrifice, not a mere meal to satisfy hunger. This is clearly stated in the book of Corinthians "But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup. For he who eats and drinks, eats and drinks judgment to himself, if he does not judge the body rightly," (1 Cor. 11:28-29, NASB).
As often as we take the communion, we remember the redemptive work of Christ on the cross for us. He died to set us free from curses, to heal all our diseases. Did you hear that? Yes all curses and All diseases.

No place in the Bible is communion restricted to only the 144,000, as some are teaching. This is a fabrication by some group of people. The fact that they do not take communion is a demonstration that they are not in the body of Christ and do not have a covenant relationship with Christ.
The Lord's Supper is meant for the body of believers, in the true and living God, who have been redeemed by the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord's Supper is not for those who are outside the camp of Christ.
This is a testimony against those who don't partake in this blessing .
Brethren, you are missing alot of spiritual blessings if you deny yourself from partaking in this true food. There is healing in the true food, there is life in the true food etc.
Stop judging yourself, pray for forgiveness and live a Holy life even as the Holy Spirit strengthens and guides us. God bless you in Jesus Christ name. I pray he opens our eyes of understanding. Shalom.... Apostle Elikem Joshua Avotri
